Koh Samui Activities

Although Koh Samui isn't densely-developed, there is a surprisingly diverse range of activities to explore.
There's a wide range of sports, from diving to golf to sailing and kayaking. And for those who enjoy a more leisurely life, pick between the many Thai cooking classes on offer, a gentle trek on the back of an elephant, or a round or two of football golf. And you'll find that most resorts also organise something for the kids, too.

Golf

There's a full size course at the Santi Buri Country Club and a leisurely 9 holes at Bo Phut Hills. Plus there's a driving range, too.

Sailing & Yachting

A wonderful opportunity to explore the uninhabited beaches and virgin caves of the Samui archipelago.

ATV

4-wheelers with knobbly tyres! Follow your leader as he guides you through a spectacular mountain and jungle panorama.

Bungee Jumping

Samui doesn't have any cliffs or caverns but it's got a really big crane with a strong elastic attached! Not for faint hearts.

Shooting Range

Hone your skills with handguns or rifles. Training courses for beginners or just good fun with live ammo on the range.

Elephant Trekking

Enjoy some time on the back of a Jungle Giant whilst he takes you round one of the prettiest waterfalls on Samui.

Thai Language Lessons

What better place to pick up a bit of the lingo? Local schools run short courses that will help you get your point across.

Diving & Snorkeling

The area surrounding Koh Samui is one of the top dive spots in the world. If you're expert, enjoy it. If not - learn how.

Fishing

There's a choice here of either a set trip or hiring a boat for the day. The seas around Samui are teeming with game fish.

Go Karting

A challenging and entertaining track and a choice of either standard (fast) or racing carts (scary!) Safe and great fun.

Canopy Adventures

Something out of the ordinary - swing on ropes and pulleys between the highest trees in a tropical jungle landscape.

Bowling

Family fun or a boy's night out? There's a full-size 10-pin bowling alley right on the edge of Chaweng.

Cooking Classes

Don't just eat it - do it! Cooking classes are now really popular, so take your pick of the wide selection that is available.
