If you like roller-coaster rides, are bored of the beach and dizzy from go-karting, then this is the next stop for you. Of course, it's not string at all. It's an elastic band. And, just to soften the blow a little, it's not head first down onto a pile of rocks - it's all rigged-up over a swimming pool. But that does have its up-side for the die-hards: they can opt to lengthen the string a bit and splash into the pool before being sproinged back up again.) You're dangled from a crane, 165 feet up and before you leap you can enjoy a super view over not only the nearby Reggae Pub, but most of Chaweng, too. And, although it's hardly the Mile High Club, those nice proprietors down on the ground will permit you to be strapped in tandem to a loved one before you take the plunge. They'll even video your downfall for you, if you wish! Now that's togetherness! Every safety precaution is taken to ensure a safe and exciting jump. Trained professionals are at the site the entire time and equipment is checked thoroughly. If you are nervous about jumping take a quick trip to the bar for some liquid courage. |
