Koh Samui Canopy Adventures

There's only a few places on Samui where you can get high and not end up with the strong arm of the law on your shoulder, and this is one of them.

It's called "Canopy Adventures". And what this means is that there are a whole load of long steel lines strung between the high trees above the jungle. It's really pretty, it's off the beaten track in Mae Nam, there's a waterfall down below and a pool, and there's four long steel zip lines connected to six solid, wooden platforms. You hook up, push free, glide like Tarzan through the jungle (well, almost - beating your chest is optional) until you swing to rest on the next platform. Then you disengage your line, change direction, hook up and off you go again in a different direction.

The whole Canopy Tour lasts two hours, the staff are seasoned professionals with safety on their minds, refreshments are included and they'll even pick you up from and return you to your hotel afterwards.

There's a small cafe, too, and after your tip-toe through the treetops you can dip awhile in the natural pool under the waterfall before heading back to your resort.
