Koh Samui CinemaSamui's only cinema is to be found at the Tesco Lotus complex on the edge of Chaweng. However, this is modern and comfortable and there is a choice of three screens, each showing a different movie. Both Western and Thai movies are screened, and there is a choice of seating - along with the regular seats there are 'VIP' nests, more like a mini 3-piece sofa group, and well worth the moderate extra charge. Two points to remember: firstly do stand up during the National Anthem at the start. And second, you might need a jumper - the air conditioning is freezing!
