Good:	Very isolated and quiet, great to relax and forget about the rest of the world. Nice grounds, beautiful cascade pool and clean, private beach. Staff is very friendly, attentive and helpfull.
Bad:	Rooms can do with a bit of facelift. Staff to improve English. No entertainment in the evening -considering how isolated the resort is some live entertainment woudl be great (example a bit of music).

Comment: I enjoyed my stay in Amari although for a single person a week was a bit too long. The city is some 20km away and taxi is not readily available late at night. Staff was amazing, always cheerfull and ready to help. Italian restaurant on the beachside is excellent. Great beach activities, most of which are complimentary.


Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: Organized trip to Phi Phi island was great. It included boat ride, lunch and water activities. the cost was 2800 bats

Good:	Rooms spacious, Restaurant food very good and reasonably priced for a top end hotel.
Bad:	Not suitable for persons with walking difficulties as it is built into the hillside.

Comment: The resort has no immediate adjoining shops etc., although transport to Ao Nang (20 Minutes) is provided by the hotel, but not the return journey.
Breakfast good value, try to sit near the open windows where you can feed the Koi Carp, food supplied.
We would recommend this resort for a relaxing break, no late nightlife.


Travel Tip: Take a trip to Ao Nang for eating out Southern Thai style.

Good:	absolutely amazing bed in the deluxe room. Good room service. Good food at the resort.
Bad:	Poor service as concern to taking care of guest requirements. Hotel as free drop off to Aonang beach but everytime. Location is pretty far from the city. about 40 min drive.

Comment: Hotel as free drop off to Aonang beach but everytime we asked for next day, we were informed that was fully booked.
Hotel spa was fully booked, inspite we did not see so many guests staying at the hotel.
Food order takes forver to arrive.
No beach towels available, again inspite of not so many guests staying at the resort.
